Thank you for supporting me, so I can keep serving as a voice for our community!

FROM THE DESK OF GRACE DIAZ

Dear Neighbor and Friend,

I hope this message finds you well. It's Grace Diaz here, your state Representative, neighbor and friend. Representing you at the RI General Assembly has truly been one of the greatest honors of my life. I've had the privilege of making a positive impact in the lives of our residents, voters, children, businesses, and our entire community. Now that my five children have grown and moved out of the house, I've devoted myself entirely to enhancing my role and serving you better each day.

Every moment in the House of Representatives is driven by my deep commitment to serving you responsibly, with integrity, and a profound sense of duty. Reflecting on the past 20 years, I realize that my dedication has been solely directed towards you, and for that, I am profoundly grateful.

One of my greatest joys is creating opportunities to secure resources for quality early education and making college education accessible and affordable for all high school graduates. Knowing that we are transforming the lives of countless families, enabling them to pursue their dreams and graduate with less debt, fills my heart with immense pride.

Throughout my tenure, I've tirelessly addressed various community needs, including support for seniors, housing initiatives, immigration reform, business development, social justice, women's rights, and access to better income opportunities. You can find a comprehensive list of my legislative accomplishments over the past 20 years here.

This year, my focus remains on initiatives to improve the lives of families and childcare providers, as well as addressing the housing crisis in Rhode Island alongside Speaker Shekarchi. Additionally, I'm dedicated to assisting individuals transitioning from correctional facilities, aiming to reduce or eliminate the painful reentry process for all of us.

I'm pleased to report that for the last 20 years, I've provided legislative grants to support vital organizations impacting our community, such as Elmwood & Providence Neighborhood Crime Watch, Elmwood Neighborhood Association, Quisqueya in Action, and many more.

I am deeply honored to serve as your state Representative, and I will continue to do my best for you and our state for at least the next two years. I hope to continue gaining your valuable support as we work together to make amazing changes for our community and our future. I remain committed to working tirelessly on your behalf to ensure a brighter future for our community in the incoming term 2024-2026.

With warm regards,

Grace Diaz
